This year, we’ve updated our High Achiever Awards to make them more achievable and inclusive, while still recognising dedication, effort, and outstanding progress. We’re excited to see more members celebrated for their hard work throughout the year and look forward to another successful year together.
Note: You can only win 1 High Achiever award on the day.

Cash Prizes:

Awarded to the three highest percentage scores achieved by CEI riders in any EA Dressage test on the day.

Awarded to the two highest percentage scores achieved by CEI riders in any Working Equitation test on the day.

Awarded to Top EA Pony % and Top under 18yrs WE rider % on the day (proudly sponsored by Greenwood Downs Ponies).
All CEI riders competing on the day will be entered into a lucky draw to win one of two $50 photography vouchers (proudly sponsored by Spirit Fire Photography).

CEI HOTY / POTY / AGE AWARDS
Point Score Conditions: 1st July 2025 – 30th June 2026
Membership: Riders must be fully paid financial members of CEI at the time of the
competition to earn points.
• Points Period: Points are awarded for competitions held between 1st July 2025
and 30th June 2026.
• Updates: Points will be updated on the CEI website after each
competition. Please review and raise concerns promptly.
• No Repeat Titles: You cannot win the same or a lower level HOTY/AGE award
more than once on the same mount.
• Points Allocation: Points are awarded per horse/rider combination.
Dressage Competitions (Including WEQ Dressage Tests)
Eligible Levels:
o HOTY/POTY: Preliminary to Advanced
o WEQ: Intro to Masters
o AGE Awards: Top Aged Rider Under 18 Years
• Test Limits: A maximum of two tests per level will count toward points. If you ride
three tests at one level, only the two highest scores will count.
• No Repeat Titles: You cannot win the same or a lower level HOTY / POTY / AGE
award more than once on the same mount.
• Minimum Participation: To qualify for HOTY/POTY points, horses must be ridden
in at least three competitions (which may include a Members Day).
• WEQ Specific Rule: You cannot ride a lower-level test than your official 3-phase
competition level. You may ride higher-level tests.
Working Equitation Competition Days
• Eligible Levels: Introductory to Masters
• Young Rider Points: Riders under 21 years earn points in Open Classes.
• Age Categories (based on age on the day of competition)
o 16 years and under
o Over 16 and under 21 years
• Multiple Horses: If a rider under 21 rides more than one horse at a comp, only
their highest scoring ride counts toward AGE awards.
• Minimum Participation: Horses must be ridden at a minimum of two of the
three WEQ competitions to qualify for points.
